Overview
Nammoz is the official website for a seafood restaurant, built to give customers a modern, easy experience while letting the owner manage all content with no developer involvement.
I built the full project with Next.js, Arabic and English support, and Sanity CMS so pages, the menu, images, and copy can be updated independently — plus an ordering flow that sends details straight to WhatsApp.

The Challenge
The goal was to ship a polished site on a tight timeline, with a smooth experience for customers and a simple management experience for the restaurant owner.
The project needed two languages, dynamic content management, and an ordering system that did not depend on payments or a complex backend — while staying fast and usable, and turning a Figma design into pixel-accurate interfaces across devices.

My Role
I owned the project from start to launch, including:
- Turning the Figma design into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces across devices.
- Building the full stack of the site with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Integrating Sanity CMS and modeling content so the client could manage the site easily.
- Shipping a full experience in both Arabic and English.
- Building an ordering flow that sends order details straight to WhatsApp.
- Adding a page that suggests meals based on the user's inputs.
- Deploying the project to the live domain and handing it over ready to use.
My role went beyond the UI — understanding the owner's needs, designing a practical editorial workflow, and turning requirements into a product ready for day-to-day use.

Process

Discovery
I worked with the client to define the core pages, how the menu should be presented, how orders should be sent, and which content needed to stay editable through the CMS.

Planning
I designed the Sanity content structure so the owner could update pages, images, copy, and the menu without touching code or waiting on a new deploy.

Development
I built the site with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with Arabic and English support, wired every section to Sanity CMS, and developed the ordering flow plus the meal-suggestion page.

Testing
Before launch, I validated:
- Menu browsing and content display flows.
- Content management through Sanity CMS.
- Order flow and WhatsApp message delivery.
- Meal suggestions based on user inputs.
- Compatibility across screen sizes and devices.
- Usability in both Arabic and English.

The project shipped in under a month, went live on the final domain, and left the client able to manage content independently from day one.

Features
Independent content management
I enabled the restaurant owner to manage pages, the menu, images, and copy through Sanity CMS with no developer help and no code changes.
Bilingual support
I delivered a full experience in both Arabic and English within a single app, while keeping content management straightforward for each language.
WhatsApp ordering
Users can pick items and send an order straight to WhatsApp. A message is prepared with the order details and customer info so the restaurant can follow up — without a complex payment system.
Meal suggestions
I added a page that helps users choose a suitable meal based on inputs like budget and party size, making decisions easier and browsing more useful.
Pixel-perfect implementation
I translated the design into matching interfaces with attention to responsiveness, performance, and usability across devices.

Lessons Learned
This project reinforced that integrating a CMS is not the goal by itself — designing a content system around the client's real needs is. When the content model is clear and flexible, the client can run the site themselves, and development stays focused on the product instead of day-to-day content updates.
Working under a tight timeline also taught me to make technical decisions that are both fast and thoughtful, and to build simple flows — from WhatsApp ordering to meal suggestions — that serve the business goal without unnecessary complexity.
